Hard to start growing your Church?

Are you finding it hard to get started growing your church? Not enough time. Too busy doing other things … praying for and preaching to your members. Not knowing actually where to start.

Let me offer a few suggestions to respond to this challenge.

  1. Form a network with another Senior Leader or Leaders who want to grow. Yes, a few Leaders working together. Now, each church growth plan is different for obvious reasons, but you will keep each other motivated, be able to hold one another accountable, set strategies, and the list goes on. This is a good place to start.
  2. Make some time on your schedule for church growth. There is absolutely never enough time. Right! I don’t know about you, but on my secular job I had to “make time” and I had to organize in a way that would allow me to do everything I had to do. ( Or risk being fired). Often, we just need to tweak a few things to get us extra time.
  3. Grow a “can do” mindset. With a new mindset, you can get started growing your church and doing it the right way. This approach will take a God-moment! What is a God-moment? It happens when we died and resurrect as a new person after spending valuable time with God. We as Ministers of the Gospel do it all the time. We die and are resurrected as new persons, with great ideas, ready to grow and serve God as never before. Try it with church growth.

…and that’s that!
